Join me on Zoom for 90 minutes of guided art-making before the holidays get busy. We’ll begin by arriving and setting an intention, then spend most of our time making with simple materials you already have at home, with music playing. At the end there’s time to share what you made and what you noticed, if you’d like.
No art experience needed. This workshop is for anyone who wants to make something with their hands and feel a little more alive.
Date: Monday, November 9th
Time: 6-7:30pm Pacific
Where: Zoom
Group size: up to 12
Materials: a set of watercolors, a brush, a cup of water, and heavy, large paper, a few old magazines, scissors, and a glue stick.
You’ll receive the Zoom link by email two days before the workshop.
What You’ll Leave With
Spending an evening making art does more than fill a page. People often arrive tired and distracted and leave lighter, more awake, and glad they came. Here’s what a Creative JOY Evening offers.
Creative Energy
Making something with your hands gives you energy back, even at the end of a long day.
Aliveness
Color, texture, and play wake up your senses, and you’ll leave feeling more present in your body.
JOY
An hour and a half of making things just because it feels good, with nothing to get right.
Community
Create alongside a small group of kind, curious people, and share as much or as little as you like.
